John Kosinski founded the East End Financial Group in 1980, and now leads a team of five advisors and six support team members, managing client relationships.
"The best part is when clients thank us – when they say that the plan has worked, that they're at peace with their financial situation and can enjoy their life," he says. "That's my definition of success."
A graduate of Villanova University, John went on to earn a Master's Degree in Financial Services from American College (MSFS) in 1998. He is a Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) and an associate member of the American Society of Pension Actuaries.
"I feel that we all have an obligation to give back to the community," says John, who has served on numerous Civic and Professional Boards and is a past President of the Suffolk County Estate Planning Council and the Riverhead Kiwanis Club. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board for the Gwen L. Kosinski Foundation benefitting brain tumor research, a 501(c)3 organization. John spent over 20 years coaching Youth Baseball and Basketball teams in Eastport and Sag Harbor and is currently actively involved in the "Face of America" cycling events raising money for Disabled Veterans.
John grew up in Bridgehampton, and later made his home in North Haven before moving to Mattituck. "Outside of my family," he says, "this is the most important thing I've done in my life; helping hundreds of people reach their financial goals."
