This year's GLK Golf Outing and World-Famous Golf Ball Drop will be held September 14, 2021. Please monitor the GLK website for further details.
The GLK Foundation has funded $10,000 in 2021 scholarships this year to Pierson High School in Sag Harbor, NY. This years scholarships were awarded to Thaily Ribadeneira Amaguay, Tucker Schiavoni, Kiara Williams and Rachel McKelvey.
Through it's 2020 fundraising efforts, the GLK Foundation was able to fund $65,000 in research grants in 2020 to the National Brian Institute, Cedars Sinai Medical Center and Sloane Kettering.
Since inception through June 2021, $846,000 has been distributed in medical research Grants, Scholarships, and caregiver's grants, etc. It remains GLK mission to continue funding research towards finding a cure for brain tumors!

The East End Financial Group will be awarding $4,250.00 in 2021 scholarships to eleven local high school seniors with our 7th Annual Fire District Scholarship Program. The awards were given to students in local fire districts who demonstrated outstanding extra-curricular achievement along with service to the community.
Through Annmarie Zilnicki's involvement as Chairperson of the Riverhead Rotary Scholarhsip Committee, $50,500 in 2021 scholarships were awarded to High School Seniors in the Riverhead Central School District this year.
Mark Poitras continues his volunteer work with the Sag Harbor Ambulance Corps and as Chairman of the Sag Harbor Lions Club Scholarhsip Committee, awarded $30,000 in scholarships at Pierson High School; $15,000 to Truman Yardley and $7,500 each to Sara Schoen and Thaily Ribadeneira-Amaguay. Ernie Vropahl continues his involvement with the Kendall Madison Foundation which awarded $10,000 in scholarships in 2021 to the most well-rounded student-athlete of the East Hampton Seniors.
In 2020 the East End Financial Group celebrated it's 40th year in business.
In 2020, East End Financial Group made a $10,000 donation to local area Food Pantries as the Island navigated through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Jeff Connolly was just re-elected to the Mattituck-Cutchogue School Board. Our congratulations to Jeff!
Connie Tobin is the new President of the Southold Junior/Senior Athletic Association. Congratulations Connie!
East End Financial Group continues to support World T.E.A.M. Sports Face of America annual ride for wounded and disabled men and women who have served our nation. The 110 mile ride starts from the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia to the historic Civil War battlefields of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
